Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Perform regular site inspections in both factory and dormitories and make necessary recommendations.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures in both factory and dormitories.
  3. Review the health and safety procedur and ensure it is well implemented and followed.
  4. Carry out health and safety induction and fire drill.
  5. Record and investigate accidents and implement corrective action plans.
  6. Provide advice to management on health and safety legislation.
  7. Ensure that all customer’s requirements in terms of health and safety are respected.
  8. Ensure that all PPE are provided with proper training.
  9. Carry out any other duties as specified by health and safety legislation.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Health & Safety or any other equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the textile environment would be a definite advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage critical path and deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, knowledge of safety procedures.
